Natural Habitat :

It is found in soft water in regions with long hours of daylight and mild temperatures.

Harvest :

This unicellular micro-alga distinguishes itself from other plants by an exceptional concentration of chlorophyll, which gives it its vibrant green colour.

Components :

It is made up of around 50% proteins and essential amino acids, 10% mineral salts (potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc and selenium) and lipids (polyunsaturated fatty acids). It is also rich in vitamins (E, group B, K and C) and carotenoids, and its chlorophyll content in 2 - 3%.It also contains 30% non-assimilable fibres, which allow it to harness heavy metals, such as mercury, lead and cadmium.
